RULES FOR 2 PLAYER OWARE GAME

At the beginning player has six holes with 4 stones in each hole. House is only to collect captured stones.

The object of the game is to capture as many stones as possible. The first player to capture 25 stones or more wins the game. A draw is possible in this game with each player capturing 24 stones.

To start the game both players have to decide who should start (toss of a coin or by mutual agreement). Player picks up all stones from any one of own 6 holes and sow them anti-clockwise direction, placing the first seed in the house to the right of where they were scooped from, and others to next own and opponents’ holes (skipping only the starting hole while sowing more than 11 stones).

If the last stone sown lands on opponent’s hole with one or two stones in it already, all those stones (including own one) are captured and placed in own house.

If a player makes a capture and preceding holes of the captured hole also contain two or three stones (including own ones) these stones are captured as well (multiple capture).

When player has no stones to play the other player must provide stones to the opponent’s side if possible.

The game ends when one player has captured 25 stones or more. When both players decide that continuing will only lead to going round in circles in such a case each player keeps the stones on their side.
